VISION 2030

The strategic roadmap for advancing LCA’s mission over the next five years and beyond.

What does the portrait of a graduate look like?

The Portrait of a Graduate statements serve as an aspirational guide, outlining the qualities and character we hope every LCA student will embody as they grow into thoughtful, faith-driven leaders prepared to make an impact beyond our campus.

The Vision

We aim to fulfill our vision through three key initiatives that advance our Christ-centered mission, guide our students’ growth, and ensure our community continues to pursue the school God calls us to be.

PAINT THE PORTRAIT

Influence & Impact: Develop our students, via enhanced programming, into impactful and influential global citizens prepared for the world, guided by their Christian faith and ready to shape the future with creative solutions and ethical leadership.

  • LEARNING-IN-ACTION | Enhance LCA’s experiential learning and applied academics platform Learning in Action (LiA) and elevate it as a signature program of LCA.
  • FAITH-IN-ACTION | Enhance spiritual growth efforts through program optimization, training, and measurement and aggregate them into a single signature program of LCA.
  • NEXT-GEN COMPETENCIES | Expand computer science, engineering, data science, and innovation/entrepreneurship courses and clubs and develop a certificate programs in STEM and Entrepreneurship for students interested in exploring and bolstering their credentials in those areas.
  • CIVIC LITERACY | Adopt Government and Economics curricula and co-curricular opportunities that develop students into active and informed citizens who engage with their communities and bring their Christian values to bear.

Empower & Uplift: Empower students, via pivotal experiences, to explore and develop their full, God-given potential and embody the LCA Portrait of a Graduate.

  • STUDENT LEADERS | Expand and strengthen opportunities for student leadership in middle and upper school.
  • STUDENT ATHLETES | Identify and commit to mission-aligned value propositions for Athletics and make proper investments to fulfill those promises.
  • STUDENT ARTISTS | Identify and commit to mission-aligned value propositions for the performing and fine arts and make proper investments to fulfill those promises.
  • STUDENT WELL-BEING | Equip faculty, staff, and students with skills proven to address emerging trends in student social-emotional health and response.
GROW GREAT EDUCATORS

Attract, develop, and retain mission-minded, top professionals in every position.

  • FACULTY | Adopt competitive, innovative strategies to attract, retain, and develop exceptional, resilient faculty.
  • WORKPLACE | Pioneer adaptive strategies to address evolving employee expectations, workplace dynamics, and thriving indicators.
PURSUE GOD'S PLAN

Define and cultivate God’s plan for LCA – defined in terms of unique identity, the proper stewardship of resources, impactful investments, and long-term advancement goals – to ensure that LCA, its mission, and its community thrive for generations to come.

  • LONG-RANGE PLAN | Initiate the monumental tasks of idealizing the school we want to be moving forward and right-sizing the school for 2050.
  • MARKET POSITIONING | Raise and leverage LCA’s position as model Christian school to drive advancement and faculty recruitment and retention.

The Investment

An investment of any amount directly impacts current students and faculty for the better, and helps to create spaces where leaders can grow into their greatest potential. We are grateful for the thousands of people who have chosen to partner with LCA over the years, and thank you for giving today.

From the Head of School

To the LCA community—thank you for your unwavering passion, faith, and commitment as we build upon more than 80 years of God’s faithfulness. Together, we continue to ask with open hearts, “What is the school that God wants us to be? What is His plan for us all?”—trusting that He will guide and equip us for the work ahead.
