Why support LCA?

Christian schools matter.
  • Kids learn to ask profound questions in every discipline.
  • Teachers model Christian love, behavior, service, forgiveness, and grace.
  • Teaching the truth of salvation gives students freedom, purpose, confidence, and joy.
  • The thousands of hours students spend at their Christian school far exceed the time they will spend at church and youth group.
  • Christian schools increase the likelihood that alumni continue their walk with God. (FSCI, 2019)
LCA is an exceptional Christian school.
  • First fully accredited Christian upper school in New England
  • Named “Exemplary School” by Association of Christian Schools Int’l (only 2% out of 2,000+ schools)
  • 79 years of competitive, innovative academics interwoven with spiritual formation
  • LCA significantly helps prepare alumni spiritually for life after graduation (87%), compared to peers. (LCA Alumni Survey, 2017)
  • LCA is steady – Jesus is always at the center.
  • LCA is innovative – We only hire teachers and coaches who can demonstrate innovative, modern, data-driven approaches to teaching their disciplines.
  • LCA alumni work at the top of every field with distinction and humility.
Together, we are focused on the future.
  • 79 years of faithful giving = 2 relocations/expansions, The Cross Center, The Student Center, The Fitness Center, endowed faculty chairs in STEM and the Humanities, numerous scholarships, and more.
  • Enrollment ⇧ 8% overall Y/Y, with a path to 330+ students in two years
  • Recent innovations include Service Learning Pods, new student leadership opportunities (now totaling 7 distinct programs), an intramural athletics program, 2 new sports, 6 new electives, and Senior Retreats.

Entering a new strategic planning cycle now and the development of Vision 2030…stay tuned!

Thank you for your

generous gift!

Throughout our 75 year history, we’ve provided a complete Christian education to every student, made possible through generous donations from the LCA community. If you would like to talk about planned giving options or additional specific funds we offer, please contact the Office of Development.

An investment of any amount directly impacts current students and faculty for the better, and helps to create spaces where leaders can grow into their greatest potential. We are grateful for the thousands of people who have chosen to partner with LCA over the years, and thank you for giving today.

from our alumni

The impact of an LCA education.

LCA’s community is truly a special one. My teachers taught me how to be an intelligent and respected Christian in an increasingly secular world. LCA encouraged me to be kind, compassionate, hardworking, and courageous.

Jennifer Murphy '18

Clinical Research, MGH

My LCA education has impacted me a great deal. I’m less scared of failing than most people, and that’s because I know I’m loved by God no matter the outcome.

Dan Evans '07

Founder, Recover-X; Founder/CEO, Babba

The academics were rigorous and the art program offered more diversity than the university I eventually attended. I wanted teachers who saw the relevance and power of a Christian worldview, and I wanted to make friends with students who were seeking more than just a college preparatory program. I was not disappointed.
